Over the course of the past few years my work has explored the boundaries and limits of drawing and the possibilities that exist between this medium and that of installation and performance. The underlying drive behind this work is my interest in how people perceive place and time. Early works in these investigations were paper constructions that responded to the architectural setting the work existed in. Some of these constructions were made from paper alone while others incorporated fluorescent lighting, extension cords, video projection, and audio. Recent works have taken a step back from the theatrical nature of previous installations and have focused on the work as a singular object that is the result of an activity or performance.
